This work has a highly spiritual meaning: the title refers to the Egyptian divinity of the Sun and everything in it points to the energy that this star transmits to us. It is not by chance that the ancient symbol of the Sun was engraved on the hand pointing upwards. The hole through this sort of "canvas" allows light to pass through and reach the face directly, infusing it with vital energy. On the forehead there is a stylized sign that refers to the OM, a Sanskrit symbol that indicates the universe. The syllable RA on the back refers to both the Egyptian deity and the incipit of the artist's pseudonym. On the palm of your left hand you can see the Eye of Ra, which, in addition to being related to light and sending rays of force, is the symbol of the capacity for spiritual expression; in the Egyptian religion it is the symbol of prosperity, of royal power and of good health. The mantle that covers the female figure is engraved with a maze-like plot, to indicate the path in the life of each of us; this material "skin" is removed, so that the inner being can come into contact with the universe.
