Diksa is a word that comes from the Sanskrit and means "consecration", besides indicating an event of great importance. What the artist particularly wants to refer to is initiation seen as a passage to a higher spiritual level. The figure is in a reflexive position, but open, indicating that this passage is taking place, and therefore the body also finds greater freedom. The hands that clasp each other behind the back want to allow the breath to flow fully to open all the Chakras and reach a higher level of awareness. The face is turned towards a distant memory: remembering and understanding our being was useful to continue and become something else. The alveoli are the symbol that Rabarama uses as a representation of cells and human DNA, which make up each of us and define us.
